When changing these Terms, we will post the reasons for the change, the main changes, the effective date and how to view the provisions before and after the change on the site beginning 7 days before the effective date. For changes unfavorable to members or otherwise material, we will give notice beginning 30 days before the effective date and provide any necessary individual notice to affected members.

When we change these Terms, we explain the reasons, main changes, when they apply and how to compare the previous and revised provisions through the service. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we notify you individually before they apply and complete any consent or other procedures required by applicable law or contract.

The currently published Help search finds prewritten guidance. Features that send customer input to an external generative AI provider for answers or translation are not enabled. Before offering such a feature, we will verify and explain the actual information processed, purposes, legal basis, recipients, processing countries, retention periods and rights procedures, and complete the required steps. This explanation is not itself consent to a new transfer of information.

When we change this policy, we announce the main changes and effective date on the site beginning 7 days before the effective date. Important changes, such as expanding the information processed or the parties receiving information or entrusted with processing, are announced beginning 30 days before the effective date. Changes requiring separate notice or consent by law apply after those procedures have been completed.

These advance notice periods are Petit Stay's policy-change standards. They do not mean that the same statutory notice period applies uniformly to all changes. If additional procedures are necessary under previous notices or applicable laws, we also complete them.

Information collected in the past and personal information remaining from ended service relationships are also processed after checking the processing basis at the time and whether any changes were lawful. Merely publishing a new policy or changing its effective date does not create consent or a processing basis that did not exist in the past.
